  • We are hiring plumbers to undertake non-social housing plumbing repairs including: Tracing and fixing leaks, delivering a range of other services from new taps to bathroom suites and providing advice and practical support

    • We are looking for those who hold the following qualifications:
      • Domestic plumbing installation, maintenance and repair experience (2 years) preferred
      • A full S/NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent is preferred
    • You’ll also need a current full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
    • OTE £40k plus per year
    • Overtime call out allowance & performance related bonuses available

  • Qualifications, Skills & Benefits:

    • A full suite of ACS qualifications. As a minimum: CCN1, CENWAT (CEN1, WAT1), HTR1, CKR1 and CPA1
    • Detailed knowledge of gas appliances and central heating systems supplemented by a thorough understanding of Normative Documents especially the Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations 1998
    • Experience of assessing/auditing and providing feedback
    • Good communication skills

    What you will have to do

    • Prioritise and allocate resources effectively to ensure the successful delivery of the departmental business plan.
    • Communicate, promote, and enforce compliance with company policies, procedures, and codes of practice, including health and safety regulations, to uphold company standards and meet regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct Monthly Work in Progress (WIP) Audits and Post-Completion (PC) Audits in accordance with the Metering Installation and Maintenance Quality Assurance Procedure.
    • Collaborate with the Head of Operations to manage and monitor the department's budget, ensuring cost-effective service delivery.
    • Track, analyse, and report on operational performance, taking proactive measures to meet and exceed agreed service levels and contractual requirements.
    • Lead and support teams in achieving departmental objectives, fostering a high-performance culture.
    • Uphold company values and ethical standards, leading by example and addressing any issues to maintain and enhance the company’s reputation.
    • Ensure staff are effectively managed, trained, and developed with the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve departmental goals and support the company's growth strategy.

     

    The Qualifications and experience you need:

    • MOCOPA Authorisation
    • GAS Safe Accreditation to CMA1 and MET1 as a minimum.
    • Coaching and training skills
    • Current driving licence
    • Ability to lead, manage and motivate field staff and meet targe
    • Previous Dual Fuel experience
