QHS Sign up to Support Comic Relief
QHS signed up on 10th February to support Comic Relief’s aims and objective’s and we are proud to support Red Nose Day on 18th March 2022.
Comic Relief and Red Nose Day 2022 Aims to:
1) Create better places to live
Worldwide around 1.6 billion people are living in inadequate conditions. Comic Relief believes everyone should have a safe and dignified place to call home. They want people who have been forced from their homes to have access to the support they need to build safe and happy lives, free from conflict, persecution or trafficking.
2) A living environment where children can survive and thrive
Worldwide millions of children are simply not getting their basic needs met. When children are prevented from reaching their potential, this can have devastating consequences for not just their lives, but also for whole communities and future generations.
3) Safety and equality for women and girls
Worldwide violence and abuse against women and girls is a global epidemic, affecting 1 in 3 women. Comic Relief is working towards a world where women can fulfil their potential and live free from violence, discrimination and fear.
4) Better mental health for all
Worldwide every year, close to 1 billion people experience mental health problems. Comic Relief helps people get access to mental health services. Mental ill health affects 1 in 10 people at any one given time, yet the majority of the world’s population simply do not have access to specialist mental health support, so are left to struggle in silence.
So lets' all get together this Red Nose Day to make a difference and raise as much money as possible for this worthwhile charity. Click here to show your support https://www.comicrelief.com/rednoseday
