QHS is delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for the 2022 ASCP Safety & Compliance Awards in the following three categories:
- Gas Safety & Compliance Initiative of the Year Award
- Heating Contractor of the Year Award
- Rising Star Award – Adam Wright QHS Business Support Co-Ordinator
Commenting on QHS's three nominations, Janet Till, ASCP Head of Communications commented "The quantity and quality of Award entries this year was impressive – so it is a real achievement to be shortlisted."
The ASCP awards ceremony is being held at Celtic Manor on Tuesday 14th June 2022, with things kicking-off from 7pm.
Gas Safety & Compliance Initiative of the Year Award - This award is kindly being sponsored by Grundfos
The idea behind this award is that ASCP are seeking to recognise and reward those solutions offered to help create a safer place to work and live, so QHS is thrilled to have the high quality work our gas engineers undertake recognised, and considered the gas safety and compliance initiative we submitted to be worthy of being nominated.
Heating Contractor of the Year Award - This award is kindly being sponsored by Vaillant
For this award, which was formerly entitled "Gas Contractor of the Year Award", ASCP are looking to recognise a heating contractor who has provided exceptional support and demonstrated outstanding professionalism, innovation or service contribution to a project or contract – or who has a particular story of excellence to share. As a company who has been trading for 27 years, QHS is delighted to have been nominated for such a prestigious award, which is a credit to every one of its gas engineers, the Gas Contract Managers, the Gas Operation Managers, our Operations Director Wayne McNulty and our Head of Development & Compliance Jim Briscoe.
Rising Star Award - This award is kindly being sponsored by AICO
For the 2022 Rising Star Award, ASCP are looking to reward a special individual who is making a difference in their organisation, bringing improvements for residents or working towards positive change in the industry. Consequently, QHS are very proud that our Business Support Co-Ordinator Adam Wright (who first joined QHS as an apprentice in June 2017) has been nominated for the ASCP Rising Star Award.
Commenting after QHS were nominated in 3 different categories for the 2022 ASCP Safety & Compliance Awards, QHS Marketing Manager Mark Austin stated "We are honoured that the ASCP judges deemed that these 3 entries were worthy of being nominated, as this is a tribute the all the staff and management at QHS who have made this possible. I am personally delighted for Adam Wright who joined us 5 years ago next month and has been very supportive of me ever since I started working for the company."
