Party of 16 From QHS Travel to Wembley Stadium
A party of 16 QHS staff and family travelled to Wembley Stadium on Saturday 21st May 2021 to watch their local High Wycombe based football team, Wycombe Wanderers F.C. take on the might of Sunderland F.C. in the EFL League One Play-Off Final.
Sadly, the Chairboys lost 2-0, but despite this it was a memorable day out for all the 16 who went, first all enjoying a drink together in the Three Lions Pub in Club Wembley, then watching the game from what turned out to be seats right next to the Royal Box, so the view they had could not have been better.
Afterwards Michaela White, QHS's Residential Services Team Leader stated "Amazing day, great atmosphere, great company, thank – you so much."
On the Monday morning after Glen Douglas, QHS's Fleet Manager commented "I had an amazing weekend, first going to Wembley with my QHS colleagues on Saturday to support my local team, then on Sunday watching my beloved Leeds United stay up on the TV."
Reflecting on the staff day trip Steph Cooper, QHS's Energy Services Team Leader remarked "WHAT A DAY! Wembley was just the best (apart from the result). Our seats were amazing and the view was insane. I loved every minute! Thank you!"
