As well as accredited installers of domestic and commercial gas central heating systems, QHS are accredited professional maintainers of gas boilers and electrical ancillaries.
QHS’s Communal Team is responsible for servicing and maintenance of communal heating systems. QHS provides compliancy reporting in line with regulatory standards for LGSR certification (annual landlord gas safety checks), gas pipe and electrical re-runs along with the re-commissioning of boilers for new tenants. They are also responsible for assisting residents who are part of a communal heating system with any issues they may have with the heating in their flat. This might include problems such as an issue with a radiator, or help controlling a thermostat.
QHS also undertakes for clients, where required, void property checks and decommissioning of gas boilers and water heaters, along with carbon monoxide alarm replacement and acquisition property checks when asked for by their clients to do so.

Its operations senior management team are qualified gas engineers, including some Chartered Engineers, meaning they have experience and technical expertise to safely maintain gas central heating systems.

ASCP is the leading UK professional membership organisation for residential asset safety management and compliance within social housing and facilities management. ASCP is committed to raising standards in social housing safety and compliance, informing, supporting and empowering members, and representing their views by being the voice of safety and compliance in the sector. Both the Association of Gas Safety Managers (AGSM) and the Association of Electrical Safety Managers (AESM) comes under the umbrella of the ASCP. In fact, in June 2022 QHS were shortlisted by the ASCP in 3 prestigious categories at their Annual Safety & Compliance Awards, namely, 1) the Gas Safety & Compliance Initiative of the Year Award, 2) the Heating Contractor of the Year Award and 3) the Rising Star Award (where QHS's Business Support Co-Ordinator Adam Wright was nominated).
