Updates on the work at Boothman House

We are carrying out planned maintenance at Boothman House, starting Thursday 14 February 2019. We will be installing two brand new communal boilers, providing heating and hot water to the residents of the block. 

Monday 25 February 2019 - 08.50am: Work has been completed in the boiler house. We are pleased with the results and hope that you are too.

All that remains is for the scaffolding to be taken down, which should happen over the next couple of days. 

Wednesday 20 February 2019 - 16.29pm: All boilers are up and running and the electrics are working as they should. All that remains to be completed is putting the external section of the boiler flue in place. 

Tuesday 19 February 2019 - 11.51pm: The old boilers have now been removed, and the block is running entirely on the new system. We are expecting the third and final boiler to go online shortly. 

Friday 15 February 2019 - 15.41pm: Two new boilers are now up and running, after the second boiler went online successfully this afternoon. A third boiler has been hung on the wall, and will go online early next week.

The day has gone smoothly, perhaps helped by the sun showing up this afternoon! With two boilers up and running, we don't expect any issues over the weekend, as the system is working as it should. 

Friday 15 February 2019 - 10.53am: Residents should be aware that scaffolding will be going up at Boothman House next Tuesday (19 February 2019). This will enable us to install the new boiler flue system. Further updates to follow.

Friday 15 February 2019 - 0930am: Good news - the first new boiler has just come online. We expect the second new boiler to come online by the end of the day.

Thursday 14 February 2019 - 0930am: Over the next couple of weeks, Boothman House will be recieving brand new boilers as part of a scheduled system update.

We will try and minimise disruption to your heating and hot water as much as possible. However, on some occassions we will need to turn off the hot water supply so that we can install new parts. We hope any disruption will only be for a short period of time.
